Flinders University’s Robotics and Maritime Laboratories Tour

Flinders University’s Robotics and Maritime Laboratories Tour Abstract Flinders University at Tonsley has been involved in projects ranging from automated inspection using field robots, to driverless vehicle trials. These experiences have led the university to develop novel robotic systems for applications from teaching undergraduates to maritime inspection. During this tour of Flinders University’s robotics and maritime spaces at Tonsley, you will; – Discover the history of Flinders University custom research and teaching robotic systems – Meet our compliant co-working robots – Learn how simulation can be used to prototype novel robotic systems – See Flinders University’s entry in the upcoming Maritime RobotX competition – Learn about Flinders University’s robot soccer team This will give participants an insight into Flinders strengths in Autonomous Robotics, Planning, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Bio-inspired Perception, and Control. A networking session shall follow the lab tour with some light drinks/snacks provided.
