2024 CAES Talk + Demo for Hybrid Uncrewed Ground and Aerial Vehicles

July 17 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Hybrid Uncrewed Ground and Aerial Vehicles (HUGAVs) are advanced robotic systems designed to operate both on the ground and in the air, combining the capabilities of Uncrewed Ground Vehicles (UGVs) and Uncrewed Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). These hybrid systems are versatile and can seamlessly transition between driving on the ground and flying in the air, offering a wide range of operational advantages for various applications. HUGAVs have significant advantages in applications such as search and rescue missions, military and defence operations, land surveys and environmental monitoring. Joined with Helmut-Schmidt-University, the University of Adelaide is developing a HUGAV platform led by Mr Adrian Welteke. In this CAES Talk + Demo, Adrian will present his discoveries and demonstrate his development. The next IEEE Control, Aerospace and Electronic Systems (CAES) Talk + Demo lab tour will be on 17th July 2024 at 6 pm (Adelaide time). I hope to see you all there.
