The IEEE Victorian Section is an active supporter of university students and major engineering, computing and technology project exhibitions. The section supports well known showcase events such as the University of Melbourne, Endevour exhibition, La Trobe University Engineering & IT Showcase and RMIT EnGenious Awards. The section also supports awards at other universities in Victoria.

About La Trobe University Engineering and IT Showcase – The Engineering and IT Showcase at La Trobe University has been an annual event since 1993. The event was formerly known as the Hooper Memorial Student Project Presentations, named after the late Prof. Darryl Hooper (founding professor of Engineering at La Trobe University).
The Engineering and IT Showcase is the pinnacle event for these disciplines where students exhibit their project work to industry and the public. The showcase includes disciplines such as Electronic/Electrical Engineering, Biomedical, Telecommunications, Robotics and Mechatronics, Computer Systems, ICT and Computer Science, Physics, Civil Engineering.
The IEEE Victorian Section is a partner of the La Trobe Engineering & IT Showcase and annually awards the IEEE Prize for Technical Innovation and Engineering Achievement which carries a $500 cash prize.

About University of Melbourne Endeavour Exhibition – The Endeavour Program is a student-managed program of events, culminating in a public exhibition of Engineering and IT student projects in October each year. The Endeavour Engineering & IT Exhibition showcases engineering and IT for tomorrow, by presenting the amazing final-year projects that Engineering and IT students develop during the last 6-12 months of their studies.
Endeavour involves students from all disciplines of engineering within the Melbourne School of Engineering.

About RMIT EnGenious Exhibition – An annual trade fair that challenges RMIT engineering students to tackle real-world problems, EnGenius highlights student work to industry experts and professionals. EnGenius showcases the work of third and fourth year electrical and computer engineering students. Working in small groups, students develop a diverse range of projects, products and strategies to address problems or scenarios that can be improved through electrical and computer engineering. Projects are assessed by a panel of industry experts from a range of engineering and business firms.
The IEEE Victorian Section is a partner of the EnGenious Exhibition with a $500 sponsorship of the event.
