Guidelines :
  • Students pursuing UG/PG studies in engineering are invited to submit innovative project ideas in the area of power and energy, falling under but not limited to any of the following
    broad categories.

    • Renewable energy
    • Smart Grid
    • Electric Vehicles
    • Energy Storage Technologies
    • Energy Optimization
  • Students must be pursuing final or Pre-final year UG/PG and be bonafide students of any
    of the AICTE recognized engineering colleges.
  • Team size: Minimum 1 member and Maximum 4 members
  • At least one member of the group should be an active member of IEEE PES in 2023
  • Each group has to submit an abstract of their idea in the prescribed format only.
  • Shortlisted teams need to make a presentation of the project
  • All the teams which present the innovative ideas will be provided with an e-certificate.
  • Based on the presentations given by student groups, the Teams will be shortlisted for the
    project funding of Rs 5000
  • The teams will be given 3 months time to implement and present their project prototype
  • Teams successfully presenting their prototype will receive the funding along with a


Timeline :

  • Starting date for abstract submission: 24th July 2023
  • Last date of Abstract submission: 25th August 2023
  • Announcement of Shortlist from Abstract: 01st September 2023
  • Date of Presentation(Online/Offline) : September 2023
  • Announcement of Shortlist from Presentation: October 2023
  • Date of project prototype presentation: January 2024
