DSS-43 Milestone Ceremony

The Canberra Deep Space Communication Complex will host the DSS-43 Milestone Ceremony with IEEE President-Elect for 2024, Professor Kathleen Kramer, 2023-2024 IEEE Asia Pacific Region (R10) Director, Professor Lance Chun Che Fung in attendance.

This event celebrated the achievements surrounding DSS-43, the Southern Hemisphere’s most giant steerable parabolic antenna, showcasing our city’s significant  contribution to space exploration and scientific discovery. A special thank you to CDSCC Director Mr Kevin Feruson and Outreach and Visitor Centre Manager Mr  Glen Nagle. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone involved in making the ceremony successful. Your dedication reinforces Canberra’s standing in the global scientific community.
