Welcome to the IEEE PES Nepal Chapter website. The Nepal Chapter of the Power and Energy Society consists of members including power engineering professionals, students, and associates in Nepal. It provides a common platform for researchers, academicians and practitioners from Universities, Industries as well as Government organizations to disseminate their experience, knowledge, and findings for enhancement of the electrical power and energy sector. Some of the topics that have been covered recently in our technical meetings (webinar) include “Role of the Smart Grid in Facilitating the Integration of Renewables”, “Role of Power Electronics in Future Low-Inertia Power Systems”, “Societal Worth of Reliability Investment in Electricity Resources”, “Microgrid” and “Role of Energy for Sustainable Social Development”.
IEEE PES Nepal Chapter conducts monthly/ bimonthly webinars and is free and open to anyone who likes to attend. We are always looking for potential speakers for our webinars.
