IEEE Power & Energy Society Nepal Chapter since its establishment has been conducting activities to uplift the research and practices in electrical power and energy sector. The Second International conference on “Role of Energy for Sustainable Social Development” was a step forward with collaboration with Khwopa College of Engineering and Khwopa Engineering College. The conference provided a common platform for researchers, academicians and practitioners from Universities, Industries as well as Government organizations to disseminate their knowledge and findings for the sustainability of the electrical power and energy sector. Authors presented their research findings focusing on electrical power & energy sector development. Keynote speeches were provided by Prof Dr. Ajit Kumar Verma, Western Norway University of Applied Sciences, Haugesand, Norway, and Prof. Dr. Rajesh Karki, Professor, University of Saskatchewan, Canada.
