IEEE-PES Madras Chapter & Department of EEE, SSN College of Engineering jointly organizes the Research Scholar Seminar Series -1 on “Fault Detection and Identification Strategy for DC-DC Converter Interfaced Microgrids” on November 02, 2022 (Wednesday), at 11.00 AM. The speaker of the event is Ms B.S.Nalina, Research Scholar, SSN College of Engineering, Kalavakkam.
Objective:
Faults in DC-DC Converters interfaced with renewable energy systems are caused mainly due to malfunction of system components, short circuits in converters, and commutation failures. These faults affect the performance of the system. Therefore, to improve the performance of the system, these faults have to be detected and identified. This seminar discusses fault detection and identification strategy and highlights the design of the Luenberger observer to meet this objective.

Around 100 participants have attended the event.
