Research and Development of Autonomous Mobility and Electric Vehicle Technology
The Electrical and Electronics Engineering department, Amrita School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, IEEE Power and Energy Society chapter and IEEE YP Madras Section jointly organized an International Symposium on “Research and Development of Autonomous Mobility and Electric Vehicle Technology on 10th and 11th March 2023.
The Event began with lighting the lamp followed by a prayer song. Dr. S. Balamurugam, Chairperson of the EEE Dept, delivered a welcome address, and Dr. Sasangan Ramanathan, Dean- of Amrita School of Engineering, delivered a presidential address. Mr. Prashanth Doreswamy, CEO & President of Continental India, delivered an inaugural address and highlighted the following topics: future mobility and research opportunities.
End of the second day in the valedictory function, Mrs. Chembrakalam Latha, Guest of honor and Vice President, Continental Automotive, delivered a valedictory address. she highlighted various advanced technologies valued in AV and software tools. The event concluded vote of thanks delivered by Dr. R. Jayabarathi, Vice Chairperson, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, followed by the National Anthem. Around 120 participants attended the international Symposium.
