Dr Jo Plested is an Associate Lecturer at University of New South Wales, Canberra. She has been researching deep learning for over 10 years.
Deep learning and transfer learning for complex datasets
This talk will cover where the field of deep learning is heading and what the current direction of the field means for the application of deep learning to a broad range of research areas.
Dr Aya Hussein is a lecturer in AI and Machine Learning at the University of Canberra. Her current research focuses on human-AI interaction, multi-agent systems, and curriculum learning.
Bridging Minds and Machines – My Research on Human-AI Interactions datasets
In this talk, I’ll discuss my research on human-AI collaboration and present innovative interaction schemes that enable humans to teach machines and effectively team up with them.
