ENZ EEG Presentation: LED screens – design and specification
Join the Electrical Engineering Group as they host Garth Reynolds for a presentation on LED screens – Design and specification. NOTE: due to ongoing COVID-19 disruptions, this event has been pushed back from 22nd June to 17th August. In addition to our Electrical Engineering Group members, we extend the invitation to members of the Institution of Engineering & Technology (IET) , the Institute of Electrical & Electronic Engineers (IEEE), and the International Council on Large Electric Systems (CIGRE). WIE: Mentor-Mentee Relationship Development
WIE: Mentor-Mentee Relationship Development
IEEE Women in Engineering strives to provide assistance in supporting female professionals in technical disciplines. This session will provide some tips for both people who would want to be a great mentor, and for those who want to get the most out of being mentored i.e. the mentee. Both sides of relationships will be discussed followed by a Q&A session for the attendees. Anne Kealley retired in mid-2021 after 12 rewarding years in executive leadership positions within the higher education sector culminating with her seven and a half years as CEO of CAUDIT. Throughout her career, Anne has been a passionate advocate for empowering her staff and others through fostering strong relationships and knowledge sharing and it is through her own experiences as a mentor and a mentee that she shares some of her thoughts and perspectives on things to consider when entering into a mentor/mentee relationship. If you are interested in attending this event via video conference, please register here. Please see our Events Page for future events affiliated with the IEEE New Zealand Central Section.
