ENZ EEG Presentation: LED screens – design and specification

August 17, 2022 @ 17:30 - 18:30

Join the Electrical Engineering Group as they host Garth Reynolds for a presentation on LED screens – Design and specification.

NOTE: due to ongoing COVID-19 disruptions, this event has been pushed back from 22nd June to 17th August.

In addition to our Electrical Engineering Group members, we extend the invitation to members of the Institution of Engineering & Technology (IET) , the Institute of Electrical & Electronic Engineers (IEEE), and the International Council on Large Electric Systems (CIGRE).

Many forward thinking organisations are looking at purchasing and installing large format LED screens. LED screens are the new future in display technology, offering a bright, modular and seamless display with low operating and maintenance costs.

In this presentation we look at all the technical jargon and help you to understand the technology in a simpler way as well as the key methods of choosing the correct hardware for your requirements.

Key topics:

  • Understanding LED technology and components – what makes up an LED Screen
  • Advantages/disadvantages
  • What is important to know when designing a solution
  • Processing – what drives the LED screen
  • Aftersales support and maintenance
  • Q&A
