Abstract—This paper discusses about design and fabrication of a system prototype that can synchronize the phase, voltage and frequency such that the alternative sources can be connected to the main grid automatically rather than manual operation. This will help minimize the problems that can arise due to faulty synchronization and also save time for synchronization. The system helps in the fulfillment of demand when supply of main grid is less so is to meet the objective of the energy management.
The system uses microprocessor-based device for synchronization of hybrid grid as per the use of load. This paper reflects the major synchronizing problems and importance of automatic synchronization.
Keywords— synchronization, energy management
