Abstract— Nowadays, inclination towards Electric Mobility is increasing rapidly due to rapid depletion of fossil fuels and greenhouse gases emission. In the context of Nepal which possess immense potential of renewable resources of energy through hydropower projects and lacks fossil fuel resources, it is becoming more aware of increasing electricity consumption in the mobility areas. Hence, there is more probability to increase Electric Vehicle (EV) penetration in the Nepalese Power system in near future, consequently this hype of EV penetration is likely to produce many implications into the electrical power system as Voltage Instability, Change in system reliability and increase in system power losses. In this paper optimal placement of these EV charging stations is purposed based on the Voltage Stability, Reliability and Power Loss (VRP) index.  The results obtained assumed to contribute in the managing the system with the Electric Vehicle charging stations.

Keywords— Electric Vehicle, Charging Station; Voltage Stability; Reliability; Power loss; VRP index.
