Smart EV Charging

The world of smart electric vehicle (EV) charging is rapidly evolving, and keeping up with the latest developments is crucial for engineers and enthusiasts alike. To that end, the collaborative session on Smart EV Charging conducted by IEEE AJCE IAS SBC, IEEE SJCET IAS SBC, and IEEE EdSoc Kerala Chapter on 17th March 2023 was a resounding success, attracting 53 active participants.

The session kicked off with a warm welcome by Ms Ria Mariam and a stimulating talk by Er C M Varughese, the CEO of Evergreen Energy Technologies, who shared invaluable insights on the current scenario, challenges, and sustainable approaches to efficient EV charging. Er Varughese’s presentation covered an introduction to EVs, an overview of EV charging, different models and types of chargers, and what makes smart charging so critical.

 

The interactive session that followed allowed the participants to engage with the speaker, clarify their doubts and share their opinions. The exchange of ideas was both lively and informative, and the attendees walked away with a deeper understanding of the latest advances in the field of smart EV charging. The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms Achsah Susan Binu, leaving a lasting impression on all participants. The collaborative effort between IEEE IAS AJCE, IAS SB SJCET, and IEEE EdSoc Kerala Chapter demonstrated the power of teamwork in promoting knowledge and innovation in engineering. Overall, the session was a resounding success, and its engaging content and interactive format made it an ideal platform for anyone interested in the world of EV charging. The organizers’ efforts and the speaker’s expertise were highly appreciated by the participants, and we look forward to more such enlightening sessions in the

Impact: This event was able to help the industrialists to enhance their knowledge of security policies and issues faced while working from home. This had a huge impact on working people making them more aware of the measures they need to take while they are not working in an office.
