IEEE Education Society (EdSoc) Kerala Chapter organized a session on Google Workspace & Placement Training as part of Membership Activities And Technical Training, on 16th July 2022. Mr. Abhinav R, YP Activities Chair of IEEE EdSoc Kerala Chapter, was the resource person for the session.

The specific aim of this session was to reform the student community by providing them training on how to integrate the Google Workspace for their day to day needs and to prepare them for placement training. As part of the Google Workspace integration, a practical session was organized by Mr. Abhinav through which he taught the attendees how to use the utilities of Google Workspace. Following that, in the second phase, he trained the participants, preparing them for placements. As part of this aptitude, development training was organized. Utilizing his experience in the industry, Mr. Abhinab brought forth an interactive session through which he molded the participants into high-potential candidates.

From the feedback, this session was found to be more impactful on the participants than expected. A lot of students appreciated the versatile content that was delivered and found them to be extremely useful. So altogether, this session helped the team in achieving their goal of generating industry-ready student engineers.
