Presentation Guidelines for Authors

To ensure a professional and well-organized presentation experience at the IEEE Ocean Engineering Technology and Innovation Conference (OETIC 2025), all presenters are required to adhere to the following presentation rules and standards. These guidelines are aligned with IEEE conference best practices.

  1. Presentation Template
    All presenters must use the official OETIC 2025 presentation template, which can be downloaded from the OETIC 2025 official website. Presentations that do not follow the official template may not be accepted.

  1. Presenter Eligibility
    Each paper must be presented by only one designated presenter. The Presenter Certificate will be issued only to the individual who actually delivers the presentation during the assigned session.
  1. Attendance Requirement
    All presenters are required to attend the conference (onsite or online) and are expected to participate from the beginning until the end of the event.
  1. Presentation Content and Delivery
    Presenters are encouraged to refer to the IEEE Author Center for guidance on how to prepare and deliver effective conference presentations:

  1. Presentation File Format
    All presentations must be prepared in Microsoft PowerPoint (.PPTX) format and should contain 10–20 slides.
    Please ensure that your presentation is clear, concise, and written in English.
  1. Upload Deadline
    Presenters must upload their final presentation file to their EDAS account no later than December 10, 2025. Late uploads may not be included in the official conference presentation schedule.
  1. Online Presentation Video Requirement
    For online presenters, a pre-recorded presentation video is required only if you anticipate unstable internet connectivity during your scheduled presentation time. This video will be used as a backup to ensure that your paper is properly presented.
  1. Video Presentation Specifications
  • Maximum duration: 10 minutes
  • File format: MP4
  • Resolution: High Definition (720p or 1080p)
  • Upload deadline: December 10, 2025, via your EDAS account
  1. Onsite Presenters
    Onsite presenters are not required to record or upload a video presentation.
  1. Presentation Duration
    Each paper presentation will have a total time allocation of 15 minutes, consisting of:
  • 10 minutes for presentation
  • 5 minutes for Q&A and discussion
    All presentations and discussions must be conducted in English.
  1. No-Show Policy
    Presenters who fail to deliver their presentation during the assigned session will be marked as a “No-Show.” Papers not presented will be ineligible for publication in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library.
  1. Presentation Schedule
    The presentation schedule will be officially announced on December 14, 2025, through the OETIC 2025 website and on each presenter’s EDAS account.
  1. IEEE Non-Presented Paper Policy
    IEEE Conference Organizers, in agreement with the IEEE Conference Sponsor, reserve the right to exclude or restrict a paper from distribution if the paper was not presented at the conference.IEEE also reserves the right to remove a paper from IEEE Xplore® after the conference if it was not presented as scheduled.
