The IEEE Ocean Engineering Technology and Innovation Conference (OETIC 2025) was successfully held on December 16, 2025, at Telkom University, Purwokerto, Central Java, Indonesia (Hybrid).

As part of our commitment to recognizing outstanding contributions in research and innovation, the Organizing Committee is pleased to officially announce the recipients of the Best Paper Award and Best Presenter Award for this year’s conference.

Best Paper Award

Recipient: Hung Nguyen
Track: Coastal and Marine Hazards, Environment, and Sustainability
Paper Title: Real-Time Multimodal AI-Based Human Detection and Localization for Maritime Search and Rescue Using LiDAR and Thermal Imaging

Best Presenter Award

Recipient: Abdullah Alraee

Paper Title: Toward Aquaculture Automation: Image Enhancement and Containment Net Removal for Robust Fish Detection for Behavior Recognition
