Mystique 2019 – the Global Wearable Technology Fashion Show
IEEE YP Victorian Section was a proud partner of Mystique 2019, coordinated by Tech4Future Director, Dr. Gabriela Raducan. The show also marked 10 years of IEEE Day Celebrations, promoted interdisciplinary global collaborations and encouraged females to join STEM fields.

The event received very good feedback from attendees and contributed to the recruitment of undergraduate and postgraduate students to join IEEE.

IEEE Young Professionals Industry Networking Night & Panel Discussion
IEEE Victorian-Tasmanian Section, in association with its Young Professionals Affinity group hosted an industry networking night, followed by a panel discussion, for the industry professionals of Victoria. It was a rare opportunity for professionals to interact with the leading industry experts. The discussions addressed important career concerns, like: engineering jobs at risk in the next 5 years, technology areas of focus by 2025, adapting to the automation changes in the industry and how the IEEE community can support you overcome these challenges. Various leading figures from Australian industry also featured in this event.
