Student Activities
Student Activities is responsible for student chapters, student programs and benefits, and making recommendations to the IEEE Computer Society Sri Lanka Chapter regarding the student volunteers. It is filled with IEEE student volunteers and supported by the IEEE Computer Society Sri Lanka Chapter. These volunteer members provide important viewpoints and information, assist activities conducted in the Sri Lanka Chapter and represent the voice of all Computer Society students members.
Composition
Chapter Student Activities Coordinator
Chapter Student Activities Coordinator is the official contact point between the IEEE Computer Society Sri Lanka Chapter (Ex-Com) and the student network, and is responsible for the Student Chapter operations, general supervision of student activities, programs and meetings.
Awards & Recognition Coordinator
Awards & Recognition Coordinator is responsible for sending timely information about IEEE Computer Society awards, grants, contests, funds and scholarships at the Section/Region/Global level to student members and for assisting the Chapter Ex-Com in selecting award/grant winners as required. Awards & Recognition Coordinator should closely work with the Awards and Recognition Sub-Committee of IEEE Sri Lanka Section Student Activities Committee for the consistency.
Events & Programs Coordinator
Events & Programs Coordinator is responsible for planning and conducting events for the student membership, aligning Student Chapter programs and events, and assisting the Chapter Ex-Com in conducting events of the IEEE Computer Society Sri Lanka Chapter.
Industry Engagement Coordinator
Industry Engagement Coordinator is responsible for maintaining effective and long-term industry partnerships with local/foreign companies in conducting student activities from the Sri Lanka Chapter and assisting Student Chapters to conduct activities. Industry Engagement Coordinator should assist the Chapter Industry Relations Coordinator in maintaining industry partnerships and should closely work with the Industry Relations Sub-Committee of IEEE Sri Lanka Section Student Activities Committee for the consistency.
Information Management & Communications Coordinator
Information Management & Communications Coordinator is responsible for maintaining effective records of the Student Chapters, student membership and volunteers, and communication and correspondence with the student membership with respect to the activities conducted from the IEEE Computer Society Sri Lanka Chapter.
Social Media Coordinator
Social Media Coordinator is responsible in maintaining the public image of the IEEE Computer Society Sri Lanka Chapter with up-to-date online presence and other public visibility campaigns. Social Media Coordinator should closely work with the Public Visibility Sub-Committee of IEEE Sri Lanka Section Student Activities Committee for the consistency.
Training & Webinar Coordinator
Training & Webinar Coordinator is responsible in conducting training program for the membership, coordinate and schedule webinars, and maintain the record and resources of the conducted webinars. Training & Webinar Coordinator should assist the Chapter Membership Development Coordinator in conducting membership drives and other campaigns, and should closely work with the Events & Programs Coordinator and the Membership Development Sub-Committee of IEEE Sri Lanka Section Student Activities Committee for the consistency.
Graphic Designer
Graphics Designer is responsible for visualizing and creating graphics including illustrations, logos, layouts and other designs of the IEEE Computer Society Sri Lanka Chapter.
Video Editor
Video Editor is responsible for capturing, editing, and producing videos of the IEEE Computer Society Sri Lanka Chapter.
Webmaster
Webmaster is responsible for setting up, maintaining, and implementing changes to the Chapter website. Webmaster should closely work with the Chapter Editor when finalizing the content to be published in the web.
