[19 Oct 2023] Seminar: Active EMI Suppression of Power Electronic Systems with WBG Devices – Prof. Hong Li

Event Time

Hong Li

Beijing Jiaotong University, Beijing, CHINA

Abstract:

As wide bandgap semiconductors become more prevalent, power electronic converters are advancing towards higher frequencies and power density, leading to heightened challenges from high-frequency electromagnetic interference (EMI). This seminar will explore modulation methods, active driving, and topology and control improvements for these converters. We will present active EMI suppression techniques, emphasizing their distinct features, and discuss future EMI trends and suppression strategies for wide bandgap power electronic systems.
