The IEEE Singapore EMC Chapter organized the Family Day. Friends and family members of the IEEE EMC Society took a boat ride around some of the islands of Singapore. They also had lunch on a kelong – floating fish farm. Throughout this tour, we were fortunate to have Mr. Simon as our tour guide who shared with us the history and happenings on the islands. The tour of the floating fish farm was also a first time experience for most of us as we were introduced to how these farms are embarking on science and technology to stay competitive and most importantly ensure sustainability.
