Introduction to CCTV Join the Electrical Engineering Group for a Presentation by Jacques du Toit of Axis Communications for an introduction to closed-circuit television (CCTV). In addition to our Electrical Engineering Group members, we extend the invitation to members of the Institution of Engineering & Technology (IET) and the Institute of Electrical & Electronic Engineers (IEEE). Today it’s used for a plethora of functions including business operations, automating industrial machines, gathering traffic statistics, behavioural analysis and retail intelligence to name a few. Following the presentation Jacques will be available to answer your questions. In 1996, Axis Communications launched the first network camera and have been continuing to innovate year on year. With this and our experience working with network video and audio solutions, analytics and access control makes us a true global leader. Jacques du Toit has been with Axis Communications for over nine years, working across three different continents. Jacques vast experience in network CCTV, audio, analytics and software designs, architecture and deployments makes him a true knowledge base in the space.
