The IEEE Region 10 Annual General Meeting
The IEEE Region 10 Annual General Meeting was successfully held in Kitakyushu, Japan, on 28–29 April 2026. The event brought together Section Chairs from across Region 10, along with representatives from IEEE USA, including the IEEE President. It served as a key platform for discussing strategic priorities, sharing regional insights, and fostering stronger collaboration among IEEE leaders.
The meeting featured engaging discussions on advancing technology, enhancing member engagement, and strengthening the impact of IEEE activities across the Asia-Pacific region. Participants had the opportunity to exchange ideas, explore best practices, and contribute to shaping the future direction of IEEE initiatives at both regional and global levels.
Representing Pakistan, Dr. Nosherwan Shoaib (Chair IEEE Islamabad Section), Dr. Shahid Shaikh (Chair, IEEE Karachi Section), and Dr. Yasir Saleem (Chair, IEEE Lahore Section) actively participated in the meeting. It was a valuable experience that enabled learning, meaningful networking, and collaboration with leaders from around the world, all working collectively for the betterment of humanity.
