Power and Energy Society (PES) Chapter IEEE Indonesia Section (IS) was initiated by a spreading petition to Academicians, Researchers, Industrialists, Practicians, and Engineers who are interested in Power and Energy Systems which in January 2015. The petition recognized by many institutions, universities, and industries. Operationally, the PES Chapter IEEE IS was approved officially on April 21^st, 2015 which was registered on CH10737 and noted at PE31. The main goal of the PES Chapter is for gaining multi collaboration to develop knowledge, technology, and skill up between members and institutions through various synergies. This chapter is focused on the Power and Energy System Expertise and related fields. We also welcome to invite and take part everyone in technology, knowledge, and current issues for advanced future collaboration.

Warm greetings also to Academicians, Researchers, Industrialists, Practitioners, Engineers, Educators, and Students who are existing for synergy nationally and internationally. We invite members and potential people to join PES Chapter IEEE IS and contribute together for better sustainable development. Moreover, in 2019, the PES Chapter IEEE IS has 74 members from various provinces in Indonesia. The total members are coming from 51% of Academician/Researcher and 49% of Industrial/Practical Engineer. In 2020, the members increased totally to 89 people covered in 2 of Associate Members, 3 of Graduate Student Members, 3 of Life Members, 61 Members, 8 of Senior Members, 10 of Student Members, and 2 of Affiliate Members.

We hope that members can meet for many activities and collaboration for advancing technology and knowledge. We also open to other synergies with industries, universities, colleges, or other institutions.
