WELCOME TO THE INDONESIA SECTION OF IEEE AEROSPACE & ELECTRONICS SYSTEMS AND GEOSCIENCE & REMOTE SENSING JOINT CHAPTER

Established in May 2013, the IEEE Aerospace & Electronics Systems and Geoscience & Remote Sensing Joint Chapter serves as a platform for professionals in these fields. The chapter organizes various events such as conferences, workshops, tutorials, and member gatherings annually. Major activities include:

•AGERS Conferences (since 2018): An annual international event with proceedings published in IEEE Xplore. The 2024 theme is “Innovative Trends in Geoscience, Electronics, and Remote Sensing: Transforming Global Challenges into Sustainable Opportunities for Biodiversity Conservation and Natural Resource Management.”
•ICARES Conferences: Held regularly since 2013, with proceedings also featured in IEEE Xplore.
The Organizing Committee of AGERS 2025 cordially invites original, high-quality contributions for presentation at the 2025 IEEE Asia-Pacific Geosciences, Electronics and Remote Sensing Technology conference. AGERS 2025 will be held in Hybrid mode, on 17–18 December 2025 in Purwokerto, Indonesia, hosted by Telkom University. This international event provides a premier forum for researchers, engineers, and industry practitioners to discuss emerging trends and share innovative solutions in geoscience, electronics, and remote sensing.

This event has become an important conference since the theme will be specifically on ”Integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things (IoT) in Remote Sensing and Electronics for Agriculture and Natural Resource Management“.

This year’s theme emphasizes the convergence of AI and IoT technologies with remote sensing and electronics in addressing agricultural challenges and the sustainable management of natural resources. We encourage contributions that demonstrate:
• The design and application of intelligent sensor networks for real-time environmental monitoring and agricultural optimization.
• Case studies and innovative methodologies that integrate AI-driven analysis and IoT connectivity to enhance crop management, soil assessment, and water resource monitoring.
• Explorations into cost-effective, technology-driven solutions that provide actionable insights for improved agricultural productivity and natural resource conservation.

We hope that this event will be attended by geoscientists, Engineers, and Remote Sensing Experts worldwide.
