![](https://r10.ieee.org/indonesia-grsaes/wp-content/uploads/sites/84/samer-school-819x1024.jpg)
This summer GRSS school, hereinafter called school, is designed to give the university students, and professionals, the opportunity to acquire the required know-how on the design of the SAR Satellite, its Earth Terminals, and DSP techniques associated with the received signal interpretation.
The school is intended to be a complementary training to the associated courses in higher technical schools, in which most of the materials are usually given in a more conceptual manner with less technical detail for implementation. With this objective in mind this one-week course will cover both theoretical and implementation aspects of SAR satellite, to be delivered by authoritative experts and engineers from Japan, India, Malaysia, China, and Indonesia.
This event is organized by Indonesia IEEE GRS/AES Joint Chapter, in collaboration with Department of Electrical Engineering – Universitas Islam Indonesia (UII) and Department of Geography Education – Universitas Negeri Malang (UM), and supported by GRSS chapter of Gujarat – India, Masyarakat Ahli Penginderaan Jauh Indonesia (MAPIN), and IEEE Comsoc Indonesia
