IEEE Information Theory Society(ITS) is the premier professional society dedicated to the advancement of the mathematical underpinnings of information technology for the benefit of humanity. Information theory encompasses the processing, transmission, storage, and use of information, and the foundations of the communication process.
ITS Bangalore Chapter is a vibrant and dynamic chapter spearheading the objective and principles of ITS under the umbrella of IEEE Bangalore Section. The society has wide presence in many engineering colleges and universities across Karnataka state.It conducts many hands-on technical workshops and programme for benefit of students, faculty members and professionals. It arranges regular technical webinars delivered by national and international reputed speakers and experts in the field.
