A 200-liter horizontal drum and locally manufactured clay bricks were used to construct the kiln.<br \/>\nStudents and teachers will learn about Internet of Things (IoT) principles and how to utilize sensors to monitor the temperature inside a clay kiln. The training camp on\u00a0 innovation development through the use of digital technology and communication on 5 March &#8211; 7 May 2022 . Total\u00a0 of\u00a0 465 students from three provinces, namely Phayao, Chiang Mai, and Chiang Rai, participated in this activity, with 217 young in upper secondary school and 248 youth in higher education<\/p>\n<p>2. The selection of twelve unique concepts that fulfill the requirements of the community and make appropriate use of technology. The finalist teams receive funding for further development and community implementation.<\/p>\n<p>3. Young Telecom and IT Innovator Social Innovation Day features twelve finalist presentations. Regarding the technical and social impact on the community, the panel of experts addressed questions and provided advise. Only logic gates and FPGA are allowed. No microcontroller.<\/p>\n<p>The expected outcomes of the projects are two folds. The students should leverage their digital logic circuit design knowledge via hands-on experiences. They should develop their soft skills to acquire users&#8217; needs and keep in mind those needs when designing the prototypes. To accomplish this outcome, the instructor organized a workshop on the design thinking process, which can be used as a tool to create user-centric solutions. Before the exhibition, all prototypes were tested with real users to get feedback for improvement.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition is half-day and open to all students, faculties and the public. Each team will demonstrate the prototype and explain how the solution solves the user\u2019s problem.
