Abstract: Recent development in 5th Generation technology promises a lots of features including the exciting level of data transmission, handling, security in a complex and dynamic networks systems. It will be an intelligent enough to handle the communications systems with efficient connectivity across the world. It will provide uninterrupted information, communication and entertainment to make common peoples life more comfortable and meaningful. Government and Industry will find this more useful to implement different projects for the advancement of society. In turn this will attract more investment to implement different interesting applications leading to next generation technology.

During this presentation the focus will be on a brief review of 5th Generation technology and its prospects and challenges in particular to different antenna technologies and propagation for beyond 5G. There are large number of papers on antenna technologies, wireless architecture and propagation models have been reported in the literature. Some of them will be discussed during this presentation as multiple antenna technologies, mm wave antenna, multi beam antenna, phased array, wireless network, propagation and channel modelling. From this extensive review of different works of researchers around the world it will be perceived that numerous challenges will be opened up for mobile communication applications. However, the most interesting outcome will be the efficient and secure multi-gigabit per second data transmission which can lead to future generation of technologies.
