Abstract:
As AI transforms industries, professionals must adapt by embracing multidisciplinary approaches. Combining knowledge from different fields creates innovative solutions and explores new possibilities. AI enhances the creative process, from generative art to immersive experiences. By leveraging AI, creative professionals unlock opportunities and push boundaries. However, collaborating with experts from computer science, data science, and engineering is crucial to build and create meaningful products and services for the future. This presentation will introduce examples of how science professionals can benefit from exploring their skills in fields like speculative design and collaborating with visual communicators to discover new ways to apply expertise and impact society. As AI reshapes industries, those who bridge gaps between disciplines and work with diverse experts will succeed and positively impact the world.
Biography:
Constance Rika, a multifaceted creative professional, launched her career as a Look Development Artist at Polygon Pictures, contributing to the Netflix series “Knights of Sidonia.” She later diversified her skills as a VFX and CG Artist in films, commercials, and the gaming industry. Currently a Director at amana, a Tokyo-based creative advertising firm, Constance merges her expertise in CG, graphic design, UI design, and sometimes working with science professionals in Speculative Design to assist brands in envisioning and constructing their future. Leveraging her multidisciplinary background and cutting-edge technologies like AI in her creative process, she specializes in helping local and venture brands develop innovative products and reach the global market through her global visual communication skills.
