Topic: Artificial Intelligence Empowered Fault Diagnosis and Predictive Maintenance in Industrial Internet of Things

Speaker: Peng Liu, Professor, Hangzhou Dianzi University, China

Abstract:

The development of industrial Internet of Things technology has made modern industrial processes more and more intelligent, but there are still many problems that need to be solved. For example, how to evaluate and optimize equipment performance with limited resources, and how to monitor equipment usage at a low cost and provide predictive maintenance? The development of artificial intelligence provides us with ideas to solve these problems. This talk will firstly introduces the performance evaluation and optimization for programmable logic controller (PLC); then discuss the predictive maintenance methods of connected devices based on machine learning; finally give the examples of applications in IoT.
