Cyber physical systems are systems which incorporate both physical and computational resources and often utilizes communication mechanism to achieve their desired objectives. Networked control systems are crucial part of many cyber physical systems and are widely used in automation, power grids, multiagent systems, traffic management systems and in many other real-world applications. Due to presence of network, these systems have inherent challenges like limited available bandwidth, transmission delays, packet losses and risk of cyber-attacks. In literature, we came across many approaches of dealing with these issues especially DOS attacks, but many of them usually take assumptions on DOS attack, e.g., DOS attack is periodic with known upper bound on duration, or it is time-constraint with limited energy, etc.

In this talk, we will discuss an approach by which we can keep the plant stable as well as tractable under any DOS attack. Also, we will discuss mechanism by which we can efficiently utilizes available network bandwidth.
