Our college only teaches us to get good grades whereas the industrialist world hires only better-skilled engineers which is lacking in this 21st century. I hope STEP will be a better platform to bring out our talents in the respective field and I am sure it would help me clear my confusions in choosing my domain.
IEEE Madras section Young Professionals enhanced me to bridge the gap between students and professionals. It helps me to equip my volunteering skills by volunteering for the various events organized by IEEE Madras Young Professionals. I had served as a Graphic Design team lead for the STEP & IEEE TEMS Industry Forum. It helps me to flourish my leadership skills and also paves the way for me to teach my skills to the upcoming volunteers.
IEEE Madras Young Professionals always hosts creative events which enlightened me as well as my juniors. Starting with the STEP event to the exploring about REM webinar, we are all not only updated about the resources of IEEE but also made an impact in the student community to volunteer for several events across the nation.
