Abstract: In the current world scenario, concerns about greenhouse gas emissions is a key topic addressed and development of Electric Vehicles has gained considerable importance and attention. To mitigate the effects of the gas emissions, electrification of conventional ICE (Internal Combustion Engine ) is very essential. For such objective, Power Electronics play a vital role and can be contextualized in different purposes to support the full adoption of electric mobility. The seminar focuses on Power Electronic technologies for electric mobility where main Power Electronic topologies , commonly used components in PE products are presented and explained. Also, various Power Electronic systems placed in an Electric Vehicle and in the off-board charging systems shall be covered. Various in-house projects supporting different vehicle segments (48V, 72V, 350V systems) shall be introduced and explained. Applicable charging standards shall be covered. Expected future trends in Power Electronic technology that shall lead to improvement in EV market shall also be discussed.
