The discussion was structured around four main themes: Progress and the Path Ahead, where panelists discussed gender equality advancements and the ongoing challenges, such as pay gaps and limited leadership roles, stressing the need for flexible work environments and policy reforms. In Leadership and Inclusivity, the speakers reflected on their personal leadership journeys, underlining the importance of mentorship and proactive engagement in creating inclusive leadership spaces. The session on Work-Life Balance and Mental Well-Being highlighted the importance of shared responsibilities in both professional and personal spheres, challenging the idea that work-life balance is solely a woman’s responsibility.

Finally, in Empowering the Next Generation, panelists encouraged young women to pursue careers in STEM, research, and entrepreneurship, emphasizing the importance of mentorship and skill development. The event concluded with a lively Q&A session, virtual mementos for the panelists, and closing remarks from Dr Leesha Paul, Chair of the IEEE Education Society Kerala Chapter, followed by a vote of thanks from Ms Anjal P.
