Call for Nomination Form for SCONEST’15

SCONEST (Student conference on emerging science and technology) is an annual event of IEEE Karachi Section. SCONEST caters to develop interest of research work in science and technology within undergraduate students.
It is similar to a research-paper based conference, only it is organized in interest of students to inspire, engage and convince them to take part in research routinely. IEEE Karachi Section shall be selecting a University and approve them to host this event at their campus this year from any time from August- October, 2015.
SCONEST can be one-day or two days event depending upon the available resources and time from Host University. SCONEST covers following research tracks:
• Student Research Paper Competition
• Student Poster Competition
• Professional Awareness Workshops/ seminars
It is requested to every Student Branch to nominate their SB for hosting SCONEST. Only Student Branch officers (i.e. Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary and Treasurer) or Branch Counselor can nominate their student branch. IEEE Karachi Section shall be assisting with some amount (probably 30,000 PKR) as financial support to host SB.
