About Agers 2026

WELCOME TO THE INDONESIA SECTION OF IEEE AEROSPACE & ELECTRONICS SYSTEMS AND GEOSCIENCE & REMOTE SENSING JOINT CHAPTER

The 2026 IEEE Asia-Pacific Conference on Geoscience, Electronics and Remote Sensing Technology (AGERS 2026) is an international forum that brings together researchers, scientists, engineers, industry professionals, policymakers, and students to exchange knowledge, present cutting-edge research, and foster collaborations in the fields of geoscience, electronics, and remote sensing technologies. As the flagship conference of the IEEE Indonesia Section Joint Chapter of Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society (GRSS) and Aerospace and Electronic Systems Society (AESS), AGERS has established itself as a premier platform for advancing interdisciplinary research and technological innovation across the Asia-Pacific region and beyond.

The theme of AGERS 2026, “Advancing Geoscience, Electronics, and Remote Sensing Technologies for a Sustainable and Resilient Future,” highlights the vital role of emerging technologies in addressing global environmental, societal, and technological challenges. The conference emphasizes the development and application of innovative sensing systems, intelligent electronics, Earth observation, geospatial analytics, artificial intelligence, and data-driven solutions that contribute to sustainable development, climate resilience, disaster risk reduction, environmental monitoring, smart infrastructure, and natural resource management.

AGERS 2026 provides an inclusive platform for presenting original research, sharing best practices, and discussing emerging trends that bridge academia, industry, and government. The conference encourages interdisciplinary collaboration to accelerate scientific discoveries and technological advancements that support informed decision-making and resilient communities in an increasingly dynamic world.

Participants will have the opportunity to engage with distinguished keynote speakers, technical sessions, workshops, and networking activities while exploring the latest developments in geoscience, electronics, remote sensing, and their diverse applications. Through this collaborative environment, AGERS 2026 aims to inspire innovative solutions that leverage advanced technologies to build a more sustainable, resilient, and prosperous future for society.

AGERS is the flagship conference of the Indonesian IEEE Asia-Pacific Geosciences, Electronics and Remote Sensing Technology Joint Chapter, serving as a premier platform for interdisciplinary discourse and technological innovation. Since its inception, AGERS has provided a dynamic forum for exchanging novel ideas and advancements in geoscience, electronics, and remote sensing. AGERS 2026 will be held in Hybrid mode, on 17–18 December 2026 in Hotel Le Meridien, Jakarta, Indonesia.
