TENCON 2022 has been themed inspired by the IEEE Future Directions platforms both graduated &amp; ongoing. Year 2022\u2019s TENCON is organized by IEEE HK Section, designed to be a blended event from Hong Kong SAR, China. The conference will be held from 1-4 November 2022 in Hong Kong SAR, China for the venue based physical attendees. The others will be joining virtually to hear and engage with the exciting and innovative programs that is being planned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applicants should possess a Bachelor\u2019s degree, preferably in Public Relations, Communications, Creative Media, and Publicity or related disciplines, with at least 1 year\u2019 relevant experience. They should have excellent written and spoken skills in English and Chinese, including Putonghua; be able to translate complex ideas into clear, compelling, and influential communications; and develop new and original communications programmes creatively with minimal guidance. They should demonstrate a high level of confidence in making decisions as well as good judgment, innovative and creative problem-solving, website design, and social media management skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reporting to the Organizing Committee of the TENCON 2022, the appointee is expected to (i) design and implement publicity plan to promote the Project in social media platform like Facebook, Instagram and WeChat; (ii) responsible for artwork and layout adaptation; (iii) identify engagement opportunities and manage effective relationships and communications with both internal and external stakeholders of the TENCON 2022; (iv) prepare communications materials and engagement outreach plans with all stakeholders; (v) seek and evaluate external visibility opportunities and organize\/coordinate engagement activities and events for the TENCON 2022; (v) monitor public reaction and media coverage on the TENCON 2022 for analysis and internal distribution, and (vii) perform any other duties as assigned<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered. It is one of its kind of opportunities to learn the best chapter management strategies from the outstanding society chapters and learning through the experiences of outstanding chapter officers. The event will discuss and deliberate on best practices for Society chapter management and how sections can collaborate and support their chapters.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Call for Participation and Call for Special Sessions are being sent to R10 Sections and facilitated by IEEE R10 SC Committee.<\/li><li>Section Chairs\/ Chapter&nbsp;Chairs\/Section&nbsp;Chapter&nbsp;Coordinators should nominate officers&nbsp;to attend\/&nbsp;or&nbsp;Self-nominate to attend. In case of attending in-person, the attendees shall seek funding support approval from their parent Section\/ Chapter to fund their&nbsp;expenses (including but not limited to travel&nbsp;+&nbsp;accommodation).<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Major Takeaways<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Chapters will be able to establish and maintain a communication channel with other Section Chapter coordinators.
