About the Keynote

The IEEE Fukuoka Section Joint Chapter, RFID741/PE31 (SEIES), in collaboration with the Research and Education Promotion Association (REPA), USA, is pleased to highlight the technical keynote presentation:

Professional Solar PV System Design: From Engineering Principles to Sustainable Energy Solutions

The keynote was delivered as part of the International Conference on Sustainable Engineering and Smart Technologies (ICSEST-2026) at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada.

The presentation introduced a structured engineering approach to professional solar photovoltaic system design, with emphasis on connecting fundamental engineering principles with practical and sustainable energy applications. Major considerations included PV system configuration, component selection, system sizing, operating conditions, safety, performance, and sound engineering decision-making.

The session also provided an opportunity for participants to discuss practical challenges in photovoltaic system design and the role of professional engineering practice in the continued development of reliable and sustainable solar-energy systems.
