Event Source: IEEE vTools β https://events.vtools.ieee.org/m/580583
About the Workshop
The IEEE Fukuoka Section Joint Chapter, RFID741/PE31 (SEIES), in collaboration with the Research and Education Promotion Association (REPA), USA, is pleased to highlight the Professional Solar Photovoltaic (PV) System Design Workshop, organized in connection with ICSEST-2026.
The workshop was developed as a practical technical training activity for participants interested in strengthening their understanding of professional photovoltaic system design.
The program introduced participants to a systematic engineering approach for the planning and design of solar PV systems. Particular attention was given to the interpretation of technical data, system sizing, PV module and inverter selection, grid-connected system configuration, basic safety and protection considerations, and preliminary assessment of system performance.
Worked examples and practical discussion were used to demonstrate how engineering principles, technical specifications, operating conditions, and design constraints influence real-world photovoltaic system decisions.
The workshop was intended for students, researchers, engineers, renewable-energy practitioners, and professionals seeking to strengthen their practical knowledge of solar photovoltaic engineering.

Workshop Instructor
Dr. Mir Sayed Shah Danish, CEng., SMIEEE, MIET
Research and Innovation Chair
