Farewell Message of the Past Chair

Dear colleagues, scholars, students, friends, stakeholders, and sponsors,

After almost two years, it’s a great pleasure to hand over the Sustainable Energy and Intelligent Engineering Society – SEIES (CH10901 – Fukuoka Section Jt. Chapter, RFID741/PE31) to my academic advisor Prof. Tomonobu Senjyu. I am pleased and honored by foundation of this professional chapter, which inaugurates on 30 November 2019 at University of the Ryukyus under the IEEE Fukuoka Section and IEEE Japan Council. In 2019, I was awarded the IEEE Senior Member privilege. So, as part of my commitment to IEEE, it encourages me to play an active role in this leading society by foundation of this chapter.

However, starting from scratch is associated with opportunities and challenges, which we have been able to balance in a short period and have been put forward with achieving goals. Enthusiasm of volunteer work has bestowed me to go to bed late and stay with my beloved academic society for long hours of planning and managing events. That results in holding several workshops, seminars, webinars, technical meetings, exchanges, and dialogues events, fundraising, and creating a future outlook.

I would like to thank my colleagues, scholars, students, friends, stakeholders, and sponsors for their support and leading us to success. I want to express my appreciation to the IEEE Fukuoka Section and IEEE Japan Council for their countless support for the entire period of my tenure.

Confidently, I can say the new chairperson (Prof. Tomonobu Senjyu) and the new board will add more value and success to this chapter.
