The joint Chapter of Nanotechnology Council (NTC), and Magnetics Society (MAGS) was formed with Mr. Akash Kumar (Department of Physics, IIT Delhi), GSMIEEE as its Interim Chairman on November 20, 2017. EXECOM of the Chapter was formed in the Chapter AGM of May 15, 2018, with Mr. Akash Kumar as Chairperson. As it was not taking off, and in the absence of the founder Chair, in 2019 Prof. V. R. Singh was made Acting Chair to form the Chapter Executive Committee to regularize for holding activities. He was followed by Mr. Preet Yadav of nXP Semiconductors in 2022. At present (as intimated on August 24, 2023), the Executive Committee of the Chapter chaired by Dr Simar Preet Singh of Bennett University, Greater Noida, Delhi NCR consists of the following volunteers:
