IEEE Delhi APS Chapter – Jaipur

Format:

The format of the competition is as follows:
No. of Level: 2

UG level – for B. Tech students

PG level – for M. Tech/M.Sc. and Ph.D. Students

Each entry can have a group of maximum 3 students for their application in the competition.

Eligibility: open to all students
Application fee:
IEEE Member: Free
Non-IEEE member: Rs. 100

Mode of submission:

The students will be required to make three minute audio/video file
(podcast/vlog format) explaining their project and its outcome. The submitted entries may be uploaded in the IEEE APS Chapter Jaipur Youtube channel.

 Step 1 : Non-IEEE member need to pay the application fee.

Step 3 : The completed form will be under scrutiny. After all the entries are validated, you will receive the confirmation mail.

Awards:

1st, 2nd and 3rd prize will be announced. In addition, there will be one public choice award will be present. The awardees will get free IEEE APS membership for next 1 year and a token prize. The awardees will be given opportunity to submit article about their work in the newsletter of IEEE APS Jaipur Chapter and also a video of their work in ANY INDIAN LANGUAGE of their choice will be uploaded in the IEEE APS Jaipur website for public views.
1st prize: Gift (books/memento) of worth Rs. 1500, free IEEE APS membership and a certificate
2nd prize: Gift (books/memento) of worth Rs. 1000, free IEEE APS membership and a certificate
3rd prize: Gift (books/memento) of worth Rs. 500, free IEEE APS membership and a certificate
Public choice: Gift (books/memento) of worth Rs. 500 and a certificate

Evaluation Criteria:

The evaluation of the entries will be done by following factor: idea, problem
addressed, innovation/novelty, design, outcome- real life application, any paper/patent etc. The committee constituted by Prof. M. M. Sharma, Dr. Sanjeev Yadav and Dr. Soumava Mukherjee will look into the entries and evaluate based on the above-mentioned criteria. A voting system may be
formulated for public choice award.
