IEEE Chengdu Section was formed on 5 March, 2007. As the branch organization of IEEE, IEEE Chengdu Section is a non-profit technical organization which provides all kinds of services relating to IEEE for the IEEE members residing in Sichuan Province.

Currently, there are 12 Chapters at Chengdu：CIS，COM，ED，GRS，IT，PE，RL，SSC，SP，VT，MAG，MTT.
