Recommender systems, widely adopted in domains such as e-commerce and entertainment, are now being leveraged to unlock new possibilities in healthcare analytics. By analyzing patient histories, genetic data, lifestyle factors, and treatment outcomes, these systems can generate tailored recommendations for diagnostics, therapies, and preventive measures. Such personalization enhances decision-making for clinicians, improves patient engagement, and fosters adherence to treatment plans. Moreover, recommender systems enable dynamic adaptation, ensuring that recommendations evolve with changing patient conditions and emerging medical knowledge. This paradigm shift not only supports precision medicine but also optimizes resource utilization across healthcare systems. The integration of recommender systems into healthcare thus represents a transformative step toward intelligent, data-driven, and patient-specific medical care, ultimately improving outcomes and quality of life. Biography: Dr. Madhusree Kuanr is working as an Assistant professor in the department of CSE, ITER, SOA deemed to be university. She has received the B.E. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from BPUT, India, M.Tech degree in Computer Science from Utkal University, Bhubaneswar, India and Ph.D. degree in CSE from IIIT Bhubaneswar, India. She is having 13 years of teaching experience. ONLINE over VC ODISHA, ODISHA, IndiaSPEAKER Dr. Sarbani Roy of Jadavpur University, Kolkata Topic: AI for Climate Data Analysis ABSTRACT: AI-driven climate data analysis uses machine learning and Deep Learning techniques to accurately impute missing values, which is critical for accurate climate modeling. AI models leverage temporal and spatial correlations, outperforming traditional imputation methods by capturing complex environmental patterns to fill data gaps for variables like temperature, precipitation, and air quality. Biography: Sarbani Roy is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Jadavpur University, Kolkata. She obtained her M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from University of Calcutta, India in 2002. She received her Ph.D. degree in Engineering from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India in 2008. She was awarded the Fulbright-Nehru Senior Research fellowship in 2013-2014 and joined the research program at University of North Carolina, Charlotte, USA. Her research interests include AI for Social Good, Climate Change, IoT-Cloud, Geoinformatics and Data Science. She has published SCI/SCIE journals including IEEE and ACM Transactions, Scientific Reports Nature and conferences, several of which are in reputed international venues. She has co-authored one book, Building Wireless Sensor Networks: Theoretical and Practical Perspectives (CRC Press). She has received project grants from CSIR, MoE-STARS, ISRO, DST-NGP, Govt. of India and DSTBT, Govt. of West Bengal. She has been involved in technical program committees, organizing committees for many international conferences. She is a senior member of IEEE, India Area Coordinator of IEEE R10 Computer Society.
