Prof. Madhav Kuber Enlightens Audience on the Future of Autonomous Swarm Systems
Bhubaneswar, 05 June 2026 — The IEEE Computer Society Chapter, Bhubaneswar Section successfully organized a highly informative technical talk titled “The Rise of the Intelligent Swarm: Shaping the Future of Autonomous Systems” on 5th June 2026 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM IST.
Speaker: Prof. Madhav Kuber, Retired Senior Scientist G from DRDO, currently serving as Visiting Professor in the Department of Aerospace Engineering and Autonomous Systems at Defence Institute of Advanced Technology (DIAT), Pune.
Prof. Kuber shared deep insights into the evolution of unmanned systems and robotics, highlighting breakthroughs in Physical AI, edge computing, and the emerging paradigm of swarm intelligence. The session explored how decentralized networks of autonomous systems can operate effectively even in communication-denied environments through resilient edge-consensus models.
