IEEE CS Chapter, Bhubaneswar Section Hosts Insightful Virtual Talk on AI-Powered Drone Applications

Bhubaneswar, 15 May 2026 — The IEEE Computer Society Chapter, Bhubaneswar Section successfully organized a virtual technical talk on “AI Powered Drone-Based Applications” delivered by Dr. Asif Iqbal Middya on 15th May 2026. The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from more than 20 IEEE professional and student members.

Dr. Asif Iqbal Middya, Co-Founder and Director of JUSense Technology Pvt. Ltd., and Assistant Professor at the Future Institute of Engineering and Management, Kolkata, shared his expertise on the rapidly evolving domain of drone technology integrated with artificial intelligence. In his engaging presentation, he covered the key components of autonomous drone platforms, multi-drone Ground Control Stations (GCS), and KML-based autonomous mission planning.
