IEEE Computer Society Bhubaneswar Chapter Facilitates CS Student Participation at IC-ICNS 2026

Bhubaneswar, 26th  March 2026

The IEEE Computer Society (CS) Bhubaneswar Chapter, in association with the IEEE Bhubaneswar Section, successfully enabled the participation of IEEE CS students in the 1st International Conference on Intelligent Computing, Networks and Security (IC-ICNS 2026), organized by the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, C. V. Raman Global University (CGU), Odisha.

As one of the technical co-sponsors of the conference, the IEEE CS Chapter proactively approached the organizers to provide free registration to deserving IEEE CS student members so they could benefit from the three-day technical program, keynote sessions, and networking opportunities. Dr. Ganapati Panda, Academic Advisor, CGU, graciously approved free registration for six students. Subsequently Dr Amiya Ranjan Panda, secretary, IEEE CS Chapter coordinated the participation.

Four students from XIM University, Bhubaneswar and Centurion University of Technology and Management (CUTM), Bhubaneswar availed this facility and actively participated in the conference held from 26–28 March 2026. This marks the second time the IEEE CS Bhubaneswar Chapter has taken the initiative to facilitate free student participation in a major international conference.

During the inaugural ceremony on 26 March 2026 at S. C. Bhadra Auditorium, CGU, Er Hare Krishna Ratha the Advisor, IEEE Bhubaneswar Section & Chair, IEEE CS Chapter, Bhubaneswar Section had the opportunity to personally meet and interact with some of the participating students. The interaction focused on encouraging them to make the most of the conference sessions, keynote addresses, and technical discussions.

The IEEE CS Bhubaneswar Chapter expresses its sincere gratitude to the organizing team of IC-ICNS 2026 and especially to Dr. Ganapati Panda for their wholehearted support in providing this opportunity to students. Such initiatives continue to strengthen the bridge between academia, industry, and professional societies, empowering the next generation of computer science and engineering talent.
