Expert Virtual Talk on “Advancements in Human-Computer Interaction Using Machine Learning”
Bhubaneswar, 27 March 2026 — The IEEE Computer Society Chapter, Bhubaneswar Section successfully organized a highly interactive virtual talk on “Advancements in Human Computer Interaction using Machine Learning” on 27th March 2026.
Dr. Sriparna Saha, Assistant Professor (Stage-II) in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT), West Bengal, delivered the enlightening session. With over 8 years of teaching and research experience, Dr. Saha specializes in Artificial Intelligence, Image Processing, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning. She has authored more than 90 research publications in reputed international journals and conferences (IEEE, Elsevier, Springer) and has co-authored the book Gesture Recognition: Principles, Techniques and Applications (Springer), which is widely available through major online retailers.
The talk provided valuable insights into the latest developments in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) powered by Machine Learning, covering key concepts, recent advancements, and real-world applications. The session was very interactive, with active participation from the audience.
More than 30 professionals and students attended the event.
Mr. Hare Krishna Ratha, Advisor, IEEE Bhubaneswar Section and Chair, IEEE CS Chapter, Bhubaneswar Section, attended the talk and motivated the students to actively engage in such technical events and pursue excellence in emerging technologies.
The event was efficiently managed and coordinated by Dr. Amiya Ranjan Panda, Secretary, IEEE CS Chapter, and Dr. Sricheta Parui, Executive Committee Member. Other professional members and EC members in attendance included Dr. Tapas Patra, Treasurer.
Ms. Aeindri, a first-year student, conducted the event smoothly and professionally.
